Nisum Supports Local Flood Relief Efforts in Hyderabad

Nisum partnered with SAFA to distribute 110 relief packs to flood-affected areas in Hyderabad in the aftermath of the tropical cyclone and third deep depression, Deep Depression BOB 02. Throughout 2019-2020 Nisum has partnered with SAFA to support women micro entrepreneurs. This program has worked with 26 women identified across 140 slums in Hyderabad providing them small financial advances to kick start their ventures. See more pictures from our relief efforts here. SAFA introduces urban illiterate women to sustainable livelihoods through an area-based community model that respects the cultural and social identity of the women in the society.
