Introducing Injective Nexus: Injective's official blockchain data integration and availability on Google Cloud, one of the leading providers of cloud computing services.
Starting now, core chain data from the Injective network will be accessible in BigQuery through the Analytics Hub, Google Cloud's exclusive data sharing platform.
Introducing Injective Nexus
Injective Nexus enables core chain data from Injective to be shared with the broader mainstream world.
In turn, both developers and enterprises can interact with custom data sets across the Injective network such as real-time financial and transaction data. Google Cloud customers and enterprises can utilize bespoke Injective datasets for various use cases, including building DeFi applications, machine learning and institutional trading strategies.
Google Cloud to date has only offered BigQuery datasets for major blockchain networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Now, Injective will become part of this prominent group of Layer-1 chains.
Injective is an open, interoperable layer-one blockchain optimized for building Web3 finance applications. By providing out-of-the-box modules such as orderbooks and options, Injective enables developers to rapidly build advanced Web3 apps. It currently boasts one of the fastest chains in the industry, achieving a subsecond block time for its over 300 million transactions as of October 2023. This combination allows Injective to power an ecosystem of finance-focused applications already available to customers.
"This data collaboration is a major step forward for the Injective ecosystem in continuing to expand its footprint into institutions and traditional finance,” said Eric Chen, CEO and co-founder of Injective Labs. "The Google Cloud team has played an integral role in the growth of Injective since its inception and this latest collaboration will help to take Web3 as a whole to new heights.”
Injective Nexus Use Cases
Injective Nexus on the Google Analytics Hub
Injective Nexus organizes and aggregates all of the on-chain data to enable seamless integrations. Developers with an Analytics Hub Account can access Injective Nexus here.
Developers can run a range of queries with Injective Nexus such as the total number of transactions on Injective or the average block time on the network. Potential use cases for the Injective Nexus data set include but are not limited to the following:
-Creating new decentralized Web3 finance applications
-Leveraging on-chain data for artificial intelligence (AI)
-Customizing machine learning (ML) algorithms
-Using real-time financial data for institutional trading strategies
-Ingesting enriched data to power advanced smart contracts
The Future of Injective and Google Cloud
Injective also recently launched the Illuminate Hackathon supported by Google Cloud. Injective and Google Cloud will provide technical guidance, mentorship and prizes to help accelerate startups into the next stages of their growth.
With the growing demand for blockchain technology and decentralized finance, Injective’s data integration into Google Cloud's BigQuery is a significant move towards building a more sustainable, modular and scalable infrastructure for the industry. The integration is expected to drive innovation in the financial sector, enabling developers and businesses to build groundbreaking applications and services on top of Injective alongside the broader crypto ecosystem.
“We are committed to helping customers seamlessly connect their first party data with third party data in BigQuery to enable the most powerful analytics and AI, " said Kelly Sitarski, Director of Data and Content Partnerships at Google Cloud. “We are excited to add Injective blockchain datasets to the Analytics Hub catalog to help customers enhance their Web3 finance applications.”
The latest integration with Google Cloud marks a major step towards making Web3 data conveniently accessible for mainstream adoption.
