Studio 2000X is looking for a talented, energetic automotive visualization artist to capture and create compelling and exciting experiences, utilizing videos, photography, 3D rendered content, and supporting imagery within the design process. You have a keen eye for clean and artful content creation; your outstanding videography/photography & editing skills allow you to translate high-level requirements into high-fidelity visuals. You like to communicate your creative ideas with technical excellence, individually or as part of a team, and you succeed in producing with quality.


As a Visualization Designer, you will:

  • You will be responsible for creative videography and photography, producing final deliverables though the production process within Design.
  • You will be responsible for creative concepting, storyboarding, project planning, lighting, compositing, and editing (video/still captures, 3D rendered elements, live action composite elements, VFX and sound FX/VO integration) from concept to project completion.
  • Prepare 3D vehicle data for the CG rendering pipeline (Unreal), interacting with Ford Design worldwide.
  • Create final rendered Unreal assets, and integration through editing into final Design visualization assets.
  • Balance work within a fluid creative design environment and with tight timelines & design. frameworks. Project ownership and drive for high quality deliverables with timing discipline.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other departments to ensure product success.
  • Work with cross-functional team during various visualization pipeline phases.
  • Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Unreal as primary software.
  • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Automotive, Visualization, or Design industries.
  • Advanced proficiency using the latest video camera systems, photography systems, lighting systems, audio capture devices and editing/compositing software.
  • Program management skills + experience leading projects and teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in video editing (video & audio) and nuanced motion/animation skills (typography, motion graphics creation and integration) required.
  • Ability to think creatively to discover innovative solutions.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Working proficiency in Unreal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Specialized skills required include MoCap (motion capture) experience, from capture to 3D integration.
  • Knowledge and ability to resolve issues regarding hardware management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to champion professional standards & behaviors in all aspects of position duties.
  • Innovative thinker with ability to transform vision into reality.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation, Digital Media, or related field, or 10+ years of work experience in Automotive, Advertising, Visualization, or Design industries
  • Outstanding visual design skills with sensitivity to narrative-based storytelling and art direction.
  • Autodesk Maya familiarity a plus.
  • 3D modeling abilities, including environment creation (Unreal)
  • Understanding & knowledge in automobile design (interior & exterior) and the design process.
  • Render farm & CG pipeline experience recommended.
  • Excellent written, oral, and visual interpersonal skills, professional work ethic
  • Exhibit passion for innovative technologies, visual storytelling, advertising, and excellence in all aspects of automotive visualization.
  • Must possess excellent work ethic, integrity, and personal drive for achieving high quality results.
