Your Role and Responsibilities

User Experience Architect, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Lead ideation workshops, design thinking, and brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems. Identify opportunities for process improvements and areas where IT can support business needs and goals. Work with business units to develop IT strategies and to improve current IT implementations. Build and migrate software and services across the organization. Work with product and delivery teams to develop scalable solutions and products. Communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions. Develop and monitor product adoptions and maintain high NPS scores. Conduct user research and collect feedback to continuously optimize and prioritize product features. Define and measure business goals as much as user goals while designing software products. Conduct user analysis, user research, UX design, enterprise application design, web development and website optimization strategies. Oversee development team's day to day work provide delivery guidance, oversight and cadence. Utilize Administration of Rational Team Concert/Quality Manager/Relational Doors Next Generation and Atlassian Jira/Confluence/Crowd, Administration for Linux and Windows Servers, Database Management on Oracle and MySQL, and methodologies (SDLC, ALM, an Agile Scrum). Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (employer will accept five (5) years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree) and two (2) years of experience as a Tech Support Senior Analyst, or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Administration of Rational Team Concert/Quality Manager/Relational Doors Next Generation and Atlassian Jira/Confluence/Crowd, Administration for Linux and Windows Servers, Database Management on Oracle and MySQL, and methodologies (SDLC, ALM, an Agile Scrum). $135,000.00 to $230,200.00 per year.
