Technology Business Development Executive, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Meet with Csuite executives at wide range of quantum technology related consulting and software firms to build business and technical relationships. Create messaging and content on value of internal quantum program and its offerings targeted for potential partners. Lead executive-level briefings on quantum computing. Meet with technical leadership teams at quantum technology firms and leverage knowledge of quantum computing and computational algorithms to determine potential technology partnerships. Determine in cooperation with development team the technical feasibility of proposed partnerships. Define specific technical integrations with external software firms and execute on them in collaboration with the broader company quantum R&D and business team. Provide feedback to company quantum development team on trends and directions in quantum computing industry. Develop concrete plans for developing educational materials for company quantum technology and deliver that training to quantum start-ups, consultants and software firms. Create internal processes to track progress on technical partnerships and business relationships. Define and execute a business strategy for how internal quantum can help grow a strong ecosystem of technical business partners. Identify target quantum start- ups, consulting and software firms and evaluate priority for partnerships. Define key elements required for no- charge and for fee offerings to build successful engagements for company and for commercial alliance partners. Partner with internal quantum business development team to identify and close commercial agreements with quantum consulting and software firms. Load and maintain deal and relationship status information into internal quantum customer relationship management databases. Report to company executives on status of commercial alliances with quantum technology. Utilize: Quantum Computing, Deep-tech/go-to-market strategies, Qiskit, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, MATLAB, Mathematica. Required: PhD and one (1) year of experience as a Management Consultant, Research Technician, Research Assistant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Quantum Computing, Deep-tech/go-to-market strategies, Qiskit, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, MATLAB, Mathematica. $244,000.08 to $283,600.00 per year.
