Job ID: 629137BR Date posted: Feb. 08, 2023 Locations: Moorestown, New Jersey Program: Moorestowncell2021 Description: The RMS IWSS team is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to support Launchers and Weapons programs within Lockheed Martin's portfolio. The candidate should have technical problem-solving skills, the ability to see the big picture, the ability to conceptualize, develop, and implement solutions, and the ability to partner well with internal and external organizations. Basic Qualifications: 1. Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related technical experience is required from an accredited University.

2. Ability to obtain security clearance.

3. Must be able to travel Desired Skills: 1. Familiarity with system engineering processes, including top-down design, requirements allocation/traceability, and integrated test approach.

2. Familiarity with the systems development life-cycle.

3. Experience in working within an integrated team environment.

4. Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work with minimal day to day supervision.

5. Be well organized, take direction well, and be a self-starter willing to seek assignments and guidance.

6. Have strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
