Lockheed Martin is looking for a dynamic, hardworking Systems Engineer to support our SPP programs. As a Systems Engineer , you will: • Be responsible for supporting standard systems engineering processes or requirements, CONOPS, Verification and Validation and Mission Engineering (ME) • Define and lead the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Requirements Verification efforts with the Internal Certified Professional Engineer (CPE), and customer counterparts • Support avionics hardware (HW) design and development • Collaborate with customer, stakeholder, and contractor and multi segment representatives to prepare for the smooth execution of the system initialization, checkout and transitions to operations and maintenance. This includes support to the mission rehearsals

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education • Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience and test and verification process • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering disciplines to identify technical product characteristics to develop requirements specifications • Active Top Secret or SCI clearance Desired Skills: • Familiarity with general Space Protection missions and concepts • Experience with Class C/D space program development • Experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process and tools • Experience in Space Vehicle Test and Verification procedures, tools and data evaluation • Experience with SW test procedures, data review tools • Experience in Avionics subsystem design and operations • DOORS or similar tool for requirements management • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change • Active TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible." Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
