We are seeking a Systems Architect (SA) to develop an open system architecture using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

-Develop requirements and models for current and future Electro-Optical (EO) systems and platforms. -- - Serve as the focal point for the development of the system architecture for the various stakeholders. - Develop system and system element architectures, designs, and interface definitions. -Be responsible for any required demonstration of the system design capabilities and provisions for its application. - Coordination with the team for modelling and simulation scenarios and predicted performance. - Coordination with stakeholders including those associated with platform mission system, external/internal sensor providers, core algorithms, safety, and security. - Perform to schedule and budget for all system architecture related performance demonstrations or activities. You will routinely coordinate with the Program Requirements Lead, SEIT, Software, Analyst, Safety, and Security.

You must have a US DoD Secret Clearance with a background investigation within the last 6 years.

#MFC22 Basic Qualifications: You must have a US DoD Secret Clearance with a background investigation within the last 6 years.

• Candidate must be able to perform open system architecture design using SysML based tools. • Perform system functionality definition including system states and modes. • Define system design for software requirements/functional interfaces and mission planning features. • Synthesize design characteristics into an implementable system architecture. Desired Skills: Proficient in DOORS, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo or MagicDraw, and SysML. Understanding of basic Electro-Optical system principles is preferred. Mission planning, software development, and data model experience is preferred. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
