Candidates pursuing bachelors of science or master's of science degrees in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering should explore the opportunities available in the Moorestown Launchers Systems Engineering organization.
An intern in this position will work closely with a team of engineers on a formal government contract or internal investment effort in missile launching systems in various naval and ashore environments.
Tasks for System/Software Test engineers on these projects include: - Author test plans, procedures and standard operating procedures - Develop Requirement Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) - Execute test events, generate testing scripts/scenario generation, running formal engineering qualification test on prototype and production Software Programs - Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive system and/or subsystem level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance - Author problem reports describing issues identified by testing - Work with system and software design engineers to correct errors in designs based on test failures Basic Qualifications: - Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering. - Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance to at least the Secret level. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
