About the role
Robinhood is looking for an engineer who is passionate about privacy to become a member of the Privacy Engineering team.
The Privacy Engineering team is a core pillar of Security & Privacy and works with teams across Robinhood to ensure our products and services protect user privacy by designing architectures, tools, and features that make Robinhood's data collection transparent, and gives users control over their data throughout the data lifecycle.
You will serve as the technical lead and advocate for our environment, working closely with the Engineering Manager to establish decisions, designs, and discussions related to privacy tooling and concepts at Robinhood. You will not only lead the development of industry-vetted privacy solutions but drive a vision and innovative ideas to implementation as the company evolves and grows.

Experience with Python, Django, Go
Experience in privacy with one or more of the following privacy principles or technologies: privacy by design, user data protection, GDPR, CCPA / CPRA, data inventory, data loss prevention, encryption, anonymization or privacy impact assessments
IAPP privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT)
Experience in Finance, FinTech, or Portfolio Trading
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.
