Job Description

#LI-Remote

Our Marketing, Sales & Service organization advances Ford's reputation as a visionary vehicle and mobility services company and helps deliver a trusted customer experience. Use your marketing, sales, and service expertise to turn data-driven insights into innovative solutions that enhance sales and customer loyalty. Join us and be the eyes, ears, and voice of Ford.

In this position

Ford is seeking a Sr. Manager, Content Marketing who will be responsible for driving content development, execution and delivery of all Integrated Services content deliverables, working in close partnership with the Creative Director of Integrated Services to oversee all content workstreams.

You'll be responsible for converting big picture strategic briefs into creative briefs that can drive world-class outputs. You'll collaborate with external stakeholders to build creative briefs that both align directly to business needs, and maintain the flexibility & freedom of language to ensure the in-house content team can deliver great creative.

You'll build and manage a team that will establish replicable production capabilities around talent and music contracts. You'll partner with Creative leaders to build and maintain a roster of direct-to-production company partners, and you'll build out an internal and external network of creative partners to leverage for specific projects based on known skills & expertise.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the creative/work priorities of the MarCom-Content team, ensuring creative is delivered on-brief, on-time, and in-budget, and most critically you'll be responsible to presenting visions, content & creative to all stakeholders on behalf of creative teams to allow the 'makers' to continue building the work. Finally, you'll also be responsible for collaborating with Services Marketing Managers to drive an efficient, effective legal review process from creative brief through to final creative deliverable.

Creatively - while not an Art Director or Copywriter yourself, you think like one: You obsess over the details of the consistent customer touchpoint - whether that's a customer email, dealer collateral, website landing pages, digital video, or above-the-line TV. You are biased for action, and understand the importance of 'getting to the work' - ensuring that strategic debate end so creative development can begin. As a key member of the in-house content team, your customer & creative point-of-view is critical to driving the work forward.

Skills

  • Deep familiarity with the creative development and production process
  • A particular passion for writing and landing a 'tight brief' that can be embraced by creatives and ability to push stakeholders on key info to get to brief.
  • Ability to convert strategic goals and complex, nuanced business requirements into actionable creative briefs with creative thinking baked into the brief itself.
  • Strong presentation skills - and proven ability to represent and sell in creative work on behalf of creative directors, designers and copywriters.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with 'Creatives' - copywriters, designers, video editors, understanding the info they need, filtering out what they don't.
  • Passion for using data to inform and action creative development and optimization
  • Flexible, collaborative, with comfort pivoting quickly to support fast- moving business needs
  • Strong project management skills and attention to creative detail
  • Responsibilities
