What does this role look like?

Lockheed Martin Space has an excellent opportunity for an Electronics Engineer with the FBM Reentry Avionics Team to help solve challenges in a team environment in the areas of Electronics/Avionics design and integration.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Assist in resolving manufacturing and test issues • Work with other Subject Matter Experts to understand the hardware and systems • Apply electronics design and troubleshooting principles to develop new and improve existing electronics hardware • Participate in technical reviews and audits • Electronics systems integration • Trouble-shooting • Q-note support • Electronics test support. • Assisting with test procedure conversion from paper to automation framework • Electronics design support • Requirements development

We are looking for you to have:

• Experience with designing, analyzing and/or manufacturing high-reliability electronics components and circuits • 5 - 9 years of professional experience for this role.

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Experience with designing, analyzing and/or manufacturing high-reliability electronics components and circuits

• Experience or willingness to lead teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues

• Ability and desire to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship. Desired Skills: • Demonstrated good communication with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members • Experience with Missile flight electronic components, power distribution subsystems and/or RF • MRB authority or related experience troubleshooting hardware using schematics, drawings or simulation tools • Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools • Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills • Existing Top Secret clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
