In this position

  • As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in leading Ford Credit through a digital transformation of their receivable system.
  • Your responsibilities will include leading the strategic development and implementation of receivables modernization initiatives, as well as overseeing the enhancement of back-end services to improve customer interactions and streamline processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define product requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure timely delivery of solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Your expertise in receivables management and back-end customer services will be instrumental in shaping our product roadmap, conducting market research, and identifying opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Responsibilities

    What you'll do

  • Translate modernization business goals and end user needs into product strategy that balances those needs; communicates direction and product priorities to the development team and stakeholders in alignment with Domain-Driven Design principles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize and deliver features that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and customer interviews to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements.
  • Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value; continually makes recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings
  • Synthesize customer and stakeholder feedback to drive improvements and inform prioritization
  • Communicate product updates and roadmap plans to senior leadership, internal teams and stakeholders
  • Work directly with Corporate Legal and Compliance teams to ensure 100% conformity with Company policies
  • Coordinate workshops to define critical processes, functionality, requirements
  • Qualifications

    You'll have

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM-related field
  • Experience in agile methodologies and writing details product requirements
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Even better, you may have

  • MBA or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer-related services or receivables
  • Expertise in building customer facing user experiences in fintech areas
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and an understanding of what it takes to maintain regulatory compliance
  • A software development background or background as a technical product manager.
  • Knowledge of Domain Oriented Microservices
  • Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in working in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product areas and multiple functional areas
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise applications
  • Ability to collaborate and navigate sophisticated decision making in a constantly evolving environment
  • Strong multi-functional relationship building and communication skills
  • Prior cloud platform experience, preferably Google Cloud Platform
  • Demonstrated understanding of approaches to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
