What you'll be responsible for:

Circle is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Financial Operations team, a critical function that monitors and manages all cash, bank accounts and digital wallets at Circle. This role will support end-to-end treasury operations, ensuring the success of critical operational functions, including bank accounts and digital wallets management, internal controls, wire processing, payment operations, and other critical functions.

What you'll work on:

  • Supporting Treasury needs including accounting, accounts payable, funding, and month-end close support, including performing bank account maintenance such as signer maintenance, access audits, debit blocks as well as digital wallet maintenance
  • Monitoring the settlement of fiat and digital asset movement across all payment rails for both corporate and customers transactions.
  • Performing reconciliation and troubleshooting payment issues according to process and procedures.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure end to end process flows are executed according to regulatory requirements and internal controls/processes as well as documenting evidence of compliance. Internal stakeholders include Compliance, Customer Care, various Treasury teams, Audit, Accounting, Product, Engineering, etc.
  • Supporting the relationships with key external payment operations stakeholders at banks and other payment service providers, coordinating and resolving process issues, as well as building new processes as the company and product offerings scale.
  • Testing and improving payment operations architecture resiliency to ensure continued operations across unplanned and unexpected events. Developing automated reporting and reconciliation solutions across payments systems and platforms
  • Performing day to day reporting needs for the Treasury team including cash reporting, report maintenance, automation and other associated reporting needs.
  • Providing insights into spending trends, cash flow analytics, as well as inputs into forecasting processes for Circle.

  • What you'll bring to Circle:

  • 4+ years of experience in treasury, banking, payments industry or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field preferred.
  • Superb attention to detail, with an ability to communicate important facts and information to different stakeholders across internal and external functions.
  • A demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of ad-hoc issues by applying knowledge and technical expertise, with little to no prior instructions.
  • A commitment to accuracy in process development and reconciliation of company assets.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and use good judgment to establish order or priorities on the fly.
  • Experience in core cash and bank management or payments industry preferred.
  • Experience with treasury management systems (specifically Kyriba, JIRA) preferred.
  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

    The compensation range below is specific to Boston, MA. Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

    Base Pay Range: $105,000 - $140,000

    Annual Bonus Target: 12.50%

    Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
