Job Description

The Scrum Master at SYNC Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of Agile methodologies and practices within the team. The primary responsibility of the Scrum Master is to facilitate the Agile development process, foster collaboration and communication, and help the team achieve their goals.


Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings to ensure that the team is aligned and focused on delivering high-quality work.

Coach and mentor the team: Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices to help them improve their efficiency and productivity.

Remove impediments: Identify and address any obstacles or challenges that may hinder the team's progress and work with stakeholders to resolve them effectively.

Foster collaboration: Encourage a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team, and promote a positive and productive work environment.

Monitor and track progress: Use Agile tools and metrics to monitor the team's progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to keep the project on track.

Support product owner: Work closely with the product owner to prioritize the product backlog, ensure clear requirements, and maintain a healthy balance between delivery and quality.

Continuous improvement: Actively seek opportunities to improve the team's Agile processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement changes to drive continuous improvement.


  • Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members, and build a collaborative and high-performing team.
