What are we looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Enablement Summer Intern to join our team and contribute to the success of our sales enablement programs. As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to actively participate in various aspects of sales enablement, gaining hands-on experience and make a meaningful impact. This internship will provide exposure to seller research, program evaluation, content creation, executive job shadowing, and social media content creation.
What will you do?
Sales intern will have the opportunity to participate in different projects that may include complete research, uncover requirements, identify new enablement opportunities and assist in developing new seller education. Intern will also contribute new ideas to our current projects, participate in meetings, problem solve and learn as much about IBM as possible. This is a great learning opportunity for you!
Detailed Project Opportunities:
Support the sales enablement team with comprehensive seller research to identify areas of improvement for our programs. Formulate an informed point- of-view on areas for the team to focus on and aim to enhance engagement in our enablement programs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of enablement programs by collecting success metrics and identifying areas for improvement. Conduct seller interviews to gather valuable feedback and insights. Help identify any unexplored gaps in our programs.
Develop new and engaging content for inclusion in our enablement programs.
Craft content in a way that resonates with professionals, ensuring it is relevant and impactful. Collaborate with the training team to enhance existing training modules.
Utilize platforms such as Seismic or Your Learning to publish and share the created content. Help to incorporate multimedia elements, interactive content, or gamification to increase engagement.
Evaluate the user experience of sales enablement platforms and materials.
Propose improvements to the user interface and overall accessibility.
Solicit feedback from end-users to understand their preferences and pain points.
Shadow senior enablement leaders, gain insights into their day-to-day responsibilities. Learn by attending meetings and understand how we address seller enablement needs. Assist in creating content for LinkedIn blogs based on the experience and knowledge gained.
Develop creative and engaging social media content to support marketing efforts. Focus on attracting talent to consider our company. Showcase the company's culture and values through captivating content.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Currently pursuing a Sales, Marketing, or Business major.
Prior face to face sales experience or customer support. Direct interaction with customers.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to establish relationships, build rapport in order to become a trusted advisor
Able to articulate concepts, ideas, recommendations and proposals
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Prior experience developing learning activities targeted for sellers
Ability to develop creative and engaging social media content
Use insights to refine content and create more impactful materials.
High School Diploma/GED

Other Relevant Job Details
Supplemental 1 employees may be eligible for up to 8 paid holidays, minimum of 56 hours paid sick time and the IBM Employee Stock Purchase Plan. IBM offers paid family medical leave and disability benefits to eligible employees where required by applicable law. The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year. This position was posted on the date cited in the key job details section and is anticipated to remain posted for 21 days from this date or less if not needed to fill the role.
