As a member of Nano Powerpack Team the Engineering Technologist will be responsible for delivering hardware support for current and forward model programs. This will involve working with Nano Design and integration teams in delivering all program milestones through launch. Key roles include build coordination and teardown reviews/sign-off for engine DVP&R requirements. This includes interface and leading work requests with fabrication, component inspection, and engine build teams. This position will involve collaboration with calibration teams, manufacturing plants, and suppliers as needed to support issues or development milestones.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

Coordinate prototype engine builds to support program milestones

Work with prototype fabrication facilities to support component part modifications for engine build MRD's

Track prototype BOM and work with components engineers to order correct hardware for build MRD's. Interface with prototype part ordering PPM.

Coordinate teardown of DV engines and field returns

Document teardown and build events in Prototype Lifecycle System (PLS)

Lead teardown meetings and document teardown results

Support closure of AIMS and DURIS issues.

Support warranty root cause investigations and correction actions

Interface with calibration, mapping, TED, EPD to address and resolve engine issues

Order parts and provide dyno dress kits for EPD DV / Development engines

Provide engine or vehicle manufacturing plant support as needed

Support program DVP&R requirements and sign off

Qualifications

You'll have

Associates Degree or experience in related field as Technologist

Minimum 5 years of ICE Experience

Even better, you may have

Mechanic experience and/ or prototype fabrication experience preferred

Proficient in Microsoft office tools

Good writing and communication skills
