About the team:

The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in Westlake, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Denver, CO; or Chicago, IL, with in-office work capabilities (as may be required by management); but, remote work in limited geographies within the U.S. may be considered. We're looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our growing People Team and help support our HR systems, programs, and processes. This position will be responsible for delivering operations and analytical support to facilitate Robinhood's rapid growth. The right candidate will have a radical customer focus and will love bringing structure and scale to solve complex growth challenges.

What you'll do day-to-day:
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to improve and enhance our current onboarding process
  • Manage onboarding steps associated with transitioning candidates to new hires, including welcome emails, IT logistics, onboarding instructions, etc.
  • Create and maintain accurate and timely personnel records for employees and contractors, ensuring that data entered into Workday is accurate, secure and maintained
  • Partner with other People teams to ensure compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements; support job changes, terminations, offboarding
  • Provide Tier 0/1 HR support including, but not limited to, compensation changes, benefits inquiries, verifications, employee/job data changes, etc
  • Act as a point of contact for business processes and functional expertise related to the employee life cycle
  • Refine processes, standards, and workflows that maximize efficiency and data integrity in the HR system(s)
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of People Operations standards, operating procedures, processes, policies, and playbooks
  • Play a supporting role in cross-functional People projects to drive programs and solutions as we continue to grow
  • About you:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ year of hands-on experience in HR shared services or an HR generalist role
  • Significant experience with Workday data entry; HCM report writing and EIB upload experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong ability to partner across functional teams
  • Analytical abilities and effective research skills, with ability to tackle complicated problems with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Bonus points:
  • Experience working in ServiceNow and/or Coda
  • Experience supporting multiple geographies or countries
  • Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.
