About the team:The Robinhood Asset Management team is responsible for delivering investment and financial advice to its customers. We're looking for a business leader and owner of the operational aspects for our advisory entity. As the Operations Lead, you'll initially be responsible for identifying and solving problems, researching unique issues, and collaborating to achieve the goals of a successful launch and help set the path for a customer-friendly, uniquely compelling, compliant advisory product.
Beyond launch, you'll be responsible for ensuring an excellent end-customer experience and mitigate entity risk, while supporting cutting-edge financial and investment advisory products. You'll work with our cross functional partners in operations, trading, product, engineering compliance and legal teams, providing SME level knowledge and successfully collaborating on shared topics. This includes establishing solid operational processes, ensuring we're in compliance with policy and reporting standards, managing relationships with our brokerage partners, and troubleshooting operational and trading issues that arise. This role will be critical to identifying, consulting, building and improving the operational infrastructure for our new advisory business.
You'll also provide leadership and support to the team and set an example of our culture through your actions. You hold the team and/or teammates accountable, and provide both an example and direction in achieving a high level of excellence for all responsibilities.
The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA, with in-office work capabilities, as may be required by management.
