In this position

  • The GTS Systems Support Analyst is responsible for supporting the GTS applications ecosystem with subject matter expertise and data management that enables vehicle order to delivery of all exports globally.
  • The Support Analyst ensures the consistent data exchange of ordering systems, plant milestones, logistics, ocean carriers, port mod centers, invoicing, through to final sale to the end customer.
  • You will interact with business units, Joint Ventures, and 170 Export Markets, as well as all major Ford Global and Regional applications.
  • Responsibilities

    What you'll do

  • Analytics Lead
  • WORKS/Business Objects Training/help w/issues (create reports, train)
  • GDIA Tools - working knowledge
  • WORKS bi-weekly backlog grooming
  • WORKS User Testing
  • Customs Descriptions - Lead
  • Ensure the PCV descriptions from marketing are compatible as customs descriptions
  • Work with market, DF Young and Customs team to ensure data is accurate
  • Update GTS systems as needed
  • Support near-term shipping issues as needed
  • Weights & Measures - Lead
  • Work with various sources to ensure W&M are accurate in GTS systems
  • Update data in GTS systems as appropriate
  • Support near-term shipping issues as needed
  • Port/Routing Changes - Lead
  • Complete GTS business set-up and clean-up old routings
  • Ensure all software changes are completed by working with the development teams
  • Support near-term shipping issues as needed
  • Special Projects
  • Back-up for GTS Business Systems Manager approvals
  • Qualifications

    You'll have

  • Knowledge of Global OTD process, including Product Planning, Vehicle Ordering, Editing, Scheduling, Quality concerns/holds, Product and/or commodity constraints, Credit, Vehicle Logistics, Custom and duty requirements, Port/modifier-based activities, Retail Registration, and Warranty.
  • Ability to work within a diverse (cultural, functional and geographic) environment.
  • Flexibility on working hours given global nature of the role and time zone differences
  • Strong technical acumen in GTS suite of systems and ability to use technology to deliver solutions
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Even better, you may have

  • Undergraduate or Master's Degree Preferred
