Ford Guest Experience (GXP) Team partners with Model e, Ford Pro, and Ford Blue business units to solve significant problems by developing digital products and services in a lean, human-centered fashion. GXP is passionate about putting customers first. GXP is a place where we are trying to solve dealer and customer pain points cohesively. We are responsible for providing end-to-end service digital experiences, from the time vehicle issue is identified to collecting the feedback from the customer post vehicle return to the customer.

Digital experiences include scheduling appointments via customer, FordPass,, dealer websites, and dealer web experiences; Remote Experiences (Pickup & Delivery and Mobile Services); appointment preparation; performing service, remote payment, vehicle return, and collecting feedback. Also, GXP will be responsible for providing a scheduling process for test drives and new vehicle delivery for Electric Vehicle customers. We leverage Pega as a technology platform and we are seeking an experienced Pega Technical Manager who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Pega environments in the on-prem and cloud infrastructure. You should have a strong background in Pega administration, performance tuning, load, and performance testing, integrations with other systems, Pega architecture, security, compliance, cloud migration, deployments, and cloud technologies, and more than 10+ years of experience working in Pega technology.


Ford Guest Experience Platform (GXP) is a centralized platform that works with and alongside certain DMS tools and enables dealers to provide a seamless, end-to-end service experience centered around the online service reservation process

What you'll be able to do:

  • Manage and monitor Pega environment performance, identifying areas for optimization and implementing improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that the Pega environments meet those needs.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Pega with other systems.
  • Monitor the performance of Pega applications and make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Leading the load and performance testing of the Application to support future growth and scalability of the application.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Pega technology and cloud migration.
  • Perform data migration and testing to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the migrated data.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud migration plan for GXP applications and data.
  • Team up with Pega developers and business stakeholders to identify and address any potential risks or challenges associated with the migration.
  • Promote Collaboration and Problem-Solving by mentoring junior team members, and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical & operational documentation and standards for Pega environments and processes.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our Pega environments
  • Provide Data-Driven Insights about Environment health, and performance, identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the Pega environments.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Pega applications in on-prem and the cloud.
  • Facilitate technical guild meetings to ensure all team members have an opportunity to contribute and ask questions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project team.
  • Qualifications

  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to new learnings and incorporate them into support strategy.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to align teams on executable mode.
  • The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Pega technology, with a focus on cloud migration
  • Proven experience in managing at least 2 on-prem/cloud projects for Pega applications in the latest versions of Pega.
  • Our preferred requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A deep understanding of Pega Platform architecture, databases, servers, and network configurations is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pega's latest versions (e.g., Pega Infinity, Pega23, etc.,)
  • Extensive knowledge of Pega Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Pega environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and their respective migration tools and methodologies.
  • Strong working knowledge on Database Migration tools and strategies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git DevOps)
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements (e.g., CCPA, GDPR etc.,)
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and IT service management concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and optimize processes
