About the team:

As an integral member of the Learning and Development team, you will support and oversee training deliverables within our global vendor network. Serving as a liaison between learning and development and the vendor relationship management team, you will provide key insights and recommendations on best practices as it pertains to training initiatives. As a best in class facilitator you will create and implement train the trainer programs, provide classroom observation and recommendations for continuous improvement, and facilitate trainer development workshops. You will bring a robust background in measurement and evaluation of program efficacy and will dive deep into data to measure the effectiveness of training, and trainers across the network. Having an eye for design, you will support training initiatives and design and develop training on an as needed basis.

The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in City/State or City/State, with in-office work capabilities, as may be required by management.

What you'll do day-to-day:
  • Establish strong partnerships and interactions with management, peers, functional/ technical leads, company SMEs, and other stakeholders
  • Provide proactive consultation with the vendor relationship management team to stay ahead of training needs within the network
  • Execute on a comprehensive delivery strategy that ensures process optimization, global governance, measurement and feedback, and effective external instructor readiness and management
  • Problem solve and solution for challenges impacting training, trainer effectiveness, and/or associate performance
  • Partner with internal M&E and vendor partners to analyze data for program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments as needed
  • Monitor learner feedback as well as emerging learning needs or requests, ensuring timely visibility, escalation, and resolution across the learning and development team and external partners
  • Create and implement train the trainer programs building site proficiency in course content and curriculums
  • Manage the process for ensuring the ongoing readiness (up-skilling and cross training) of our vendor training teams to meet the evolving business needs
  • Provide onsite and virtual classroom observation and provide facilitator scorecards with development recommendations
  • Facilitate continual learning and skill development workshops to site training teams
  • Coach and mentor a team of delivery managers and instructors focused on providing consistently high-quality learning experiences
  • Serve as internal point of contact and provide logistical support for training initiatives across the network
  • Facilitate, deliver, and provide training and/or presentations as needed
  • About you:
  • 3-5 years experience learning and development
  • Strong leadership skills appropriate to a fast-paced business environment
  • Demonstrated ability in building relationships and partnering across highly matrixed organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of learning excellence and demonstrated ability to deliver learning programs (virtual and classroom-based instructor-led training (ILT), peer-to-peer learning, and eLearning)
  • Highly skilled in developing facilitation skills in training organizations
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply adult learning methods in curriculum design
  • Experience in applying Kirkpatrick evaluation scales and measurements for training effectiveness
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Working LMS knowledge
  • Ability to create course materials including, but not limited to, classroom presentations, facilitator and participant guides, and assessment and evaluations
  • Bonus points:
  • Master Trainer certified desired
  • Global learning experience preferred
  • FinTech or Financial Services experience a plus
  • Travel requirements:

    This role is expected to have a 15% - 25% global travel time commitment.

    Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
