Opportunity for Impact

TaxBit is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the founding team member for TaxBit in Asia-Pacific (APAC) and initiate market development in the region. This is a critical milestone as we continue to scale our digital asset tax and accounting solutions for the global economy.

Reporting to the CEO, you will own TaxBit's strategy and operational execution for laying the foundation for TaxBit's APAC expansion. You will be responsible for catalyzing revenue growth by creating new business opportunities with Enterprise prospects and customers, as well as government relationships and ecosystem partners. You will collaborate closely with other TaxBit leaders to accelerate the company's growth.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in market development in APAC in B2B SaaS products and/or technology solutions for the Public Sector. They have a proven track record of launching and scaling new products or businesses, resulting in exceptional customer, brand, talent, and financial outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies that lay the groundwork for TaxBit as the leader in tax, accounting, and compliance in digital assets in the region
  • Create and steward business development opportunities with Enterprises and Public Sector
  • Represent TaxBit at events and with policy-makers, working closely with TaxBit subject matter experts and local partners
  • Forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments and consistently deliver against that forecast
  • Engage directly with prospects, with particular focus on accelerating or expanding the largest and/or most strategic deals for TaxBit
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, with a specific emphasis on growing that partner business and increasing high-quality lead flow
  • Ensure commitment from the partners for revenue goals, pipeline development and other areas of strategic focus
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy, focused primarily on opportunities to unlock revenue growth in APAC
  • Professional Qualifications

  • 7-10 years experience in APAC Web3 / digital assets and/or B2B SaaS
  • 7-10 years experience in market development, business development, launching and scaling new businesses
  • Deep understanding of APAC's regulatory environment as it pertains to digital assets, financial services, and/or regulatory risk
  • Track record of top performance and a history of carrying and exceeding team/region/ company business goals
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements as they pertain to APAC-specific clients; assist in crafting solutions across multiple products
  • Strong presentation, white-boarding, and communication skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints
  • Strong interest in financial compliance technology and a deep understanding of the space
  • Some domain expertise in tax, compliance, and/or accounting is strongly desired, though not required.
