About the team + role

As the Head of Collections, you'll be responsible for operationalizing collections strategy and policies for Robinhood's credit card products.

It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you'll do
  • Design, test and iterate on collections programs (including hardship programs) and processes across communication channels including chat, text, and phone
  • Define key performance indicators and track and report on operational success metrics
  • Drive process improvements to continuously make collections more efficient and more effective
  • Partner with credit team to define collections strategy and policies for existing and new credit products
  • Design operational tests to refine product and credit strategy
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Recruit and build a collections team of contractors and/or full time employees as needed
  • Communicate performance and strategy with senior leadership
  • What you bring
  • 5+ years of experience designing, scaling and managing credit card collections programs
  • Strong ability to design and execute operational programs
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state debt collection laws
  • Experience recruiting and managing operations teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex programs and focus on key areas of leverage

  • The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood's equity plan.

    US Zone 1: $242000 - $285000 US Zone 2: $213000 - $251000 US Zone 3: $189000 - $222000

    Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
