Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Industrial Design Manager with a deep understanding of the auto industry and a passion for delivering brand on vehicle designs. This Design Manager will report to the Director of Brand Design and Strategy, In this role, you will be responsible for translating brand on vehicle strategies into compelling 3D designs, partnering with engineering teams, and collaborating with our industrial designers to ensure the successful integration of our brand into the design of our vehicles. You will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our brand across our vehicle portfolio and driving brand excellence through innovative and brand- aligned vehicle designs.


What You'll Do

1. Collaborate with Brand Design team to understand brand on vehicle strategies and translate them into innovative and brand-aligned 'badge' designs that reflect the essence and values of our brand.

2. Partner with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and integration of brand on vehicle designs, leveraging your knowledge of automotive design and engineering principles.

3. Create 3D designs and renderings that effectively communicate brand on vehicle concepts, working closely with industrial designers and other design stakeholders to bring these concepts to life.

5. Ensure the seamless integration of our brand into the design of vehicles, surfaces, and touchpoints, maintaining brand consistency and impact across all product offerings.

6. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and user insights to inform and inspire brand on vehicle design concepts and strategies.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that brand on vehicle designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements, while delivering on the brand's visual identity.

8. Contribute to the development of brand design guidelines and standards for on vehicle designs, guiding the design team in delivering high-quality and brand-aligned designs.


You'll Have

- Bachelor's degree in industrial design, product design, automotive design, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

- 5+ years Proven experience in delivering 3D badge surface and providing direction to engineering partners

- 2+ Years Leading projects & teams will need experience with people leadership

- 5+ years Proficiency in 3D design software and tools, such as CAD, Alias, SolidWorks, or similar, to create and communicate brand on vehicle design concepts.

Even better, you may have

- Strong understanding of automotive design principles, engineering constraints, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

- Knowledge of brand strategy and the ability to translate brand attributes into tangible vehicle design elements that resonate with the target audience.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
