Launched in 2023, Integrated Services creates and markets new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services allow Ford's retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicles like never before with OTA (over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing leadership at the forefront of connected, digital platforms that will revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function, the way people interact with them, and the value those vehicles provide.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

Program Management Best Practices

  • Drive adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent project delivery in support of Integrated Services' goals.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Be an advocate for agile adoption across the involved Model e, Ford Blue, and Ford Pro Enterprises to enable customer centricity and speed to market.
  • Support all members of Integrated Services Leadership team to effectively plan and manage complex, cross-functional digital and offline projects from the initial ideation phase through final execution and sustainability.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Develop streamlined organizational communication and feedback channels, as part of healthy organizational change management; ensure transparency, awareness, knowledge, adoption, and recognition.
  • Contribute to monthly governance forums, inclusive of Ford Executive Leadership members, to agree upon immediate required actions to resolve blockers and ensure on-deadline execution.
  • Increase consistency and efficacy across teams, aligning to workforce strategy and business priorities.
  • Act as a sounding board to the Integrated Services Leadership team to drive interconnected priorities, with an independent perspective, to drive alignment within their teams and external key stakeholders.
  • Risk Management

  • Exhibit strategic thinking capabilities and dynamic problem-solving skills.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, articulate risks, trade-offs and recommended prioritization based on a balance of business needs, constraints, and customer impact.
  • Metrics and KPIs

  • Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs that enable the organization to track progress of priorities from new demand through launch.
  • Drive adoption of agile collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet) to establish broader transparency and prioritization of ork, in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the PMO team.
  • People Management

  • Act as Individual Contributor (IC) in the first year of the PMO, with the potential opportunity to become a people leader as the PMO evolves over time.
  • Qualifications

    You'll have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in leading organizational transformation and innovation, particularly enterprise agile transformations.
  • Experience with cycle planning at an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
  • Capable of leading complex, cross-functional projects with autonomy in an unstructured environment.
  • Well-versed in the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and associated dashboards to track project performance.
  • Superior communication and persuasion skills; ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to tell a compelling data-driven story, and deliver recommendations for business action.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, persistence, and resilience; methodical thinker with an ability to thrive on and drive change while navigating ambiguity.
  • Ability to think critically and apply a design/systems thinking approach toward operationally efficient work.
  • Passion for self-growth and desire to learn new skills and gain knowledge.
  • Even better, you may have

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with in-vehicle architectures and their roadmaps, constraints and complexities.
  • 2+ years of Product Management / Product Ownership of embedded hardware or software development.
  • Familiarity with Jira, including as a Systems Administrator.
  • Process documentation and training experience.
