About the team + role

As a Deliverability Manager you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Robinhood's email marketing channel and other owned channels. A successful candidate will possess an expertise in email marketing and have a strong understanding of the marketing technology landscape, and how to enhance results from best-in-class martech solutions in multiple channels.

You will lead our email marketing deployment efforts and inspire new marketing capabilities to enable personalization, scale, rapid testing, and operational efficiencies. Working cross-functionally with marketing and product teams, you'll drive the delivery of seamless experiences for customers throughout their journey. The ideal candidate is passionate about email technology, is a highly analytical fast learner with the interest to optimize other owned marketing channels.

What you'll do

Channel Optimization

  • Implement strategies to improve email deliverability and inboxing rates and mitigate potential deliverability challenges
  • Optimize email sender reputation
  • Define the optimization roadmap that will increase conversion, customer engagement, and other critical metrics
  • Find opportunities to improve systems and processes to drive growth
  • Channel Performance and System Health

  • Leverage data to build insights about email deliverability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deliverability problems in a scalable and efficient manner
  • Utilize automation and data to increase marketing funnel conversion metrics
  • Manage existing vendors and evaluate new technologies that have the potential to improve marketing critical metrics
  • Compliance and Governance

  • Develop marketing channel strategies around privacy regulations, ISP guidelines, and anti-spam regulations
  • Proactively identify gaps and develop and/or influence the build of new capabilities to ensure future compliance
  • Reporting

  • Create high-quality, comprehensive deliverables such as project strategy decks and weekly/monthly reports
  • Track key performance metrics for various partners
  • What you bring
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations and/or marketing technology roles, with a predominant focus on email marketing
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, email deliverability, and compliance regulations
  • Consistent track record of successfully leading large-scale (1B+ sends per year) email marketing operations and delivering impactful results
  • Deep understanding of the martech landscape and how to extract value from various software tools
  • Strong desire to create and improve processes that drive growth and revenue at scale
  • Exhibit strong relationship-building and communication skills both across an organization and with external partners
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a highly fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using automation and data to increase marketing funnel conversion metrics
  • Systems thinker with a track record for structuring and improving the efficiency of complex tech stacks

  • Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood's equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

    $97,000—$114,000 USD
