The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service, and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

In this role you will be focusing on Marketing Analytics for Ford Credit. You will provide data driven insight to drive better and faster decision making with respect to customer experience, product offerings, digital platform development, and marketing campaign initiatives within Ford Motor Credit Company.

This is a hybrid position based out of SE Michigan with the expectation of going into the office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

In this position

  • You will work with other data scientists on the Marketing and Sales Analytics team to provide data driven insight that will drive better and faster decision making with respect to Marketing and Sales initiatives at Ford Credit.
  • You will create and develop AI/ML models that will have wide ranging influence, including customer experience, product offerings, digital platform development, and marketing campaign initiatives.
  • You will creatively use a broad range of statistical techniques and advanced analytical tools in a continual learning environment.
  • What you'll do

  • Create, validate, deploy, and monitor performance of AI/ML and statistical models based on large datasets.
  • Leverage a wide range of statistical techniques (e.g. regression, clustering, segmentation, experimental design, data mining, etc.) and tools (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, SAS, R, etc).
  • Ensure overall quality of the data and solutions throughout the analytical development process.
  • Create business-critical data visualizations and compelling stories and presentations from data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop a strong understanding of Ford Credit business to provide the best analytical solutions.
  • Qualifications

    You'll have

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Physics, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Data Science.
  • Experience in at least two of the following languages/tools: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Non-GCP Cloud Experience, Python, SAS, R and/or SQL (internship and course work allowed)
  • Experience and robust knowledge of AI/ML and statistical methods (internship and course work allowed)
  • Interest in learning new technologies
  • Even better, you may have

  • Master's or PhD
  • Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and AI Platform, Vertex AI
  • Experience with using AI/ML and/or statistics in an applied/industry environment
  • Strong Python, SAS, or other programming background
  • Experience with manipulating large scale data
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex quantitative methods into business insights and present to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to prioritize efforts, work independently, and progress multiple initiatives concurrently
