What you'll be responsible for:
Circle is looking for a Compliance Vendor and Implementation Manager who will
be responsible for the implementation and ongoing oversight of vendors and
outsourcing partners used by Circle's Compliance Operations department.
Responsibilities will include program management for new tooling and
initiatives, contractor personnel management, and reporting on the performance
of vendors and contractors.
What you'll work on:
Acting as the primary point of contact for Compliance Operations vendors
and outsourcing partners.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors to ensure
effective communication and collaboration.
Reporting on the performance of vendors and contractors, including
identifying trends in throughput and quality.
Liaising and executing the vendor management strategy, including vendor
selection, negotiation, and performance management.
Conducting vendor audits to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
and company policies.
Overseeing the onboarding and offboarding of contractors.
Acting as project manager for vendor and software implementations, and
other Compliance Operations initiatives.
Presenting on the status of vendor relationships and implementations to
senior leadership.
Collaborating with other Compliance Operations, Product and Engineering
personnel to ensure seamless delivery of projects.

What you'll bring to Circle:
A passion for harnessing the power of digital currency and blockchain
technology and services built on top of it.
Bachelor's degree required; quantitative or technical degree preferred.
7+ years of operational leadership experience, including 2+ years managing
contractor or vendor relationships.
Demonstrated success in leading complex projects from initiation to
closure, including project planning, risk management, budgeting, and
resource allocation. Strong understanding of project management
methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
clearly articulate project goals, status, and risks to stakeholders at all
levels. Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate
effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional project teams,
setting clear expectations and priorities, and ensuring high-quality
deliverables. Proven ability to manage project resources, including
budget, personnel, and external vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to
identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Experience in
developing and implementing creative solutions to complex problems in a
fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and
priorities simultaneously. Experience in creating and maintaining project
plans, timelines, and documentation, with a focus on accuracy,
completeness, and compliance.
Experience in a FinTech company or consulting preferred.
Experience and comfort working in an ever changing industry and the
flexibility to quickly react to changing demands.
Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
