Lockheed Martin seeks a Project Engineer/Control Account Manager (CAM) to join our mission in Sunnyvale, CA, supporting the Structures and Thermal teams. Duties include leading, planning, budgeting, and managing the technical/schedule/cost performance for the Structures, Mechanisms, & Thermal teams as well as subcontractor control accounts and appropriate interaction needed with the Subcontracts Administration team.
The Project Engineer will interact with a multi-disciplinary engineering team through development and production phases. The preferred candidate should have prior experience with cost, schedule, and technical management of systems with a significant budget. In addition to the primary role of a Project Engineer/CAM the candidate may be expected to provide support for other tasks to include ROM and Proposal coordination and input, which will include BOE coordination and writing.
In this role you will: • Address headcount challenges and resource constraints • Manage control account performance and elevate concerns/issues to program management and/or other impacted stakeholders • Identify risks and opportunities and implement approved actions • Manage resources, analyze trends, and develop analytics to ensure credible schedules and Estimates at Complete (EACs) • Identify and manage control accounts' schedule health and critical path • Analyze and report variances and proactively implement corrective actions • Ensure all Program Performance Management (PPM) required documentation is complete and meets compliance requirements for responsible control accounts • Ensure current CAM certification and training is always maintained • Work closely with the other IPT leads and CAMs to ensure the program business rhythms provide the appropriate visibility required to ensure PPM compliance is effectively monitored, and complete all applicable tasks and actions in accordance with PPM requirements

Basic Qualifications: • Significant prior organizational/project lead implementation • Experience leading projects with schedule and cost constraints • CAM or CAM delegate experience • Experience with Earned Value Management • Proposal, Basis of Estimate (BOE) experience • Current TS security clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with poly clearance; US citizenship is required. This position is incentive plan eligible. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
