The Channel Partner Sales Manager/Lead is a critical lead role for the Channel Partner program, on Nisum's Corporate development team for North America. This individual will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities by leveraging our channel partner in North America. The person must have a track record of successfully working and selling with channel partners.

This person will be responsible for aggressively building a healthy, high- quality sales pipeline of partner business opportunities, and creating solid relationships internally and externally leading to partner sales.

In conjunction with leadership and peers, the Channel Partner Sales Manager/Lead will set and/or execute a partner strategy for Nisum to go to market in North America to build our market awareness, confidence, and relationships, and win new business.

This individual will build strong relationships with teams across Nisum, especially with Marketing, Practice, and Delivery. The Channel Partner Sales Manager/Lead will shape Nisum's perception from new prospective clients and will directly impact the strategy and success of the company through his/her ability to effectively drive new partner business and to be successful in this role.

What You'll Do

  • Generate net new business from partner sales in North America
  • Accountable for and remunerated on meeting and exceeding channel partner sales targets
  • Responsible for qualified opportunity closures, sourced ACV
  • Prospect for, uncover, and evaluate new business opportunities for partner relationships
  • Partner Go to Market
  • Responsible work with our key channel partners in executing the go-to- market strategies to generate new opportunities
  • Own and manage existing partner sales relationships
  • Utilize methods including, but not limited to Direct outreach (email, cold calling, social media, ABM campaigns, etc); Indirect outreach (channel partners, influencers, analysts, PE or strategy firms); In- person events (Industry conferences or trade shows, face-to-face meetings, sales events, etc)
  • Network activation (personal contacts, Nisum alumni, industry networking, client or partner referrals, etc)
  • Provide regular forecasting, analysis, and reporting to peers and leadership
  • Meeting and/or exceeding partner sales target quotas
  • Landing new enterprise clients for technology service companies

    What You Know

  • Significant Business Development experience
  • Practical experience in Partner Sales role, with a proven track record of generating revenue through and with channel partners
  • Experience in technology consulting or related industry strongly preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Judicious and quick rational decision-making skills
  • Reporting Structure & Other Considerations

  • This role will report to the SVP of Corporate Development
  • This role may require ~20% travel primarily within North America
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory
