What You'll Do
Able to create and modify procedures to solve complex issues.
Seen as a subject matter expert within functional area.
Participates in negotiation and collaboration.
Utilizes creative thinking and innovative approaches involving multiple
technologies. Supports initiatives that focus on meeting and growing
Monitors service performance to SLAs and ensures organizational and
leadership visibility of SLA performance and problem areas.
Manages support exceptions/escalations and where appropriate, creates new
or refines existing business processes.
Possesses knowledge to plan and manage service deliveries for standard and
customized IT solutions and processes to satisfy customer and business
What You Know
Proficiency with ITSM tools like Service Now, Pager Duty, ITIL, IT
Operations, and Incident management
Confidence and presence to interact with executives and cross-team
Ability to persuade and influence teams to drive solutions to business-
Exposure to handling and engaging vendors and vendor management
Exposure to incident management process for cloud-hosted applications
environment on Azure and Oracle
Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to work well
with business and technical teams
Event response experience with one or more – New Relic, Nagios, Splunk,
Ability to manage multiple activities at one time in a high-pressure
Strength in building partnerships; working collaboratively with a variety
of skills and levels
Strong problem-solving/analytical skills and strength in driving business
outcomes and results
Strong technical, written, analytical, and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adaptable to changing
requirements and direction
Must be technically literate and be able to articulate technical issues in
a meaningful way to both engineers and executive-level management.
Must have a good understanding of eCom retail architecture design and
platforms hosted with Cloud Service Providers such as MSFT, Oracle,
Skill Set: Powerpoint and Excel. Ability to take tech-speak and
translate for a non-technical audience. Familiar with Agile environment
and working within Service Level Management environment. Must be able to
demonstrate strong writing ability.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Information
Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent degree or work experience and 6+
years of professional experience in IT Operations/Incident Management
ITIL Certified or equivalent
$90-120K per year
