Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Summer 2023 Analytics Intern. We're looking for enthusiastic people to help us create insights for some of the hardest problems aerospace has to offer. If you're up for a challenge, we're seeking candidates who visualize a future career in any of the following analytics genres:
• UX Design: Develops interaction design concepts consistent with business need, and develop detailed wireframes and patterns that can be shared across the business. You should be passionate about developing elegant solutions to complex problems by translating business constraints into well-integrated user experiences. • Data Scientist: Performs analysis to identify novel and meaningful patterns in data and uses statistical methods to validate data relationships or latent predictive factors. You should be comfortable with using a combination of tools, technologies, or systems to achieve the desired business result. • Data Analyst: Responsible for collecting, processing and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions. Data Analysts are extremely resourceful and are able to find novel data sources to enrich their analysis.
As an analytics intern, you will be part of an advanced analytics team that has enterprise-wide responsibility for optimizing business decision-making through the use of advanced analytical models, establishing consistent and predictable process execution, measuring performance and process health, focusing our resources on the most critical business issues and driving cross- organizational solutions.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access Basic Qualifications: • UX Design: Pursuing BA/BS or MS degree in the Arts or Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual, communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interface, Computer Science, or related field. • Data Scientist: Pursuing BS or MS degree in data science, engineering, mathematics or related field. • Data Analyst: Pursuing BA/BS or MS degree in engineering, business, data science, or related field.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills: • Prior experience in a related industry preferred. • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively. • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively. • Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment. • Strong oral and written communication skills.
