Advisory Software Engineer, IBM Corporation, San Jose, CA: Build a highly performant web user interface for Db2 databases with technologies used for front-end. Design API layers for programmatic access to the administrative and developer tool for Db2 databases. Participate in designing the visualization of Db2 monitoring metrics. Lead squad meetings among engineers to discuss technical issues and track the project's progress. Work with stakeholders like design, product management, documentation, server teams to gather requirements, validate feasibility and design the solution for the console products. Engage with customers to ensure successful adoption of the console. Define the quality standards for the product and lead a team to implement code and tests to meet the set standards. Lead team to develop Kubernetes operator for Lakehouse services on Redhat Openshift and Cloud Pack for data platform. Utilize: JavaScript Redux Store, Spring web, Eclipse development framework, Kubernetes, Redhat Openshift and IBM Cloud Pak for Data. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing JavaScript Redux Store, Spring web, Eclipse development framework, Kubernetes, Redhat Openshift and IBM Cloud Pak for Data. $283,442.00 per year.
