In this position

You will work across the System V in all areas of ADAS. You will lead root- case analysis with internal functions and suppliers to ensure the vehicle system achieves ADAS feature requirements and performance. You will collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams from early prototype builds through the vehicle launch in modules including IPMA, BCM, ABS, APIM, IPC, etc. on all programs. You will lead interface meetings to cascade feature requirements, validation timing and manage software complexity across the distributed system. You will frequently update ADAS ECU/component software and configurations with the opportunity to write scripts to expedite the process with quality.

You will diagnose and triage issues from HiL, bread board, VoCF, plant, etc. and consult teams through resolution. Other support includes resolving assembly plants EOL issues and providing remote/in-person diagnostic support. You will have the opportunity to teach and train new employees in diagnostics and equipment usage by sharing knowledge and technical procedures. There are also opportunities to develop new methods and procedures for ADAS as the system evolves to the next generation of technology.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Support, coordinate, lead root-case analysis with internal functions and suppliers to ensure system achieves feature requirements
  • Hands-on troubleshooting for Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) and/or configuration issues
  • Triage issues from HiL, bread board, VoCF, plant, and other fleets
  • Support assembly plants in resolving EOL/configuration issues
  • Verify and understand vehicle specifications for complete feature validation
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Explain program specific ADAS features to interfacing systems
  • Understand core ADAS requirements and feature behavior
  • Work with Powertrain, Chassis, and HMI interfaces
  • Verify and understand vehicle specifications for complete feature validation
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to review and correct ADAS- related configuration settings in modules including IPMA, BCM, ABS, APIM, IPC, etc. on all programs
  • Qualifications

    You'll have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Control Systems
  • Minimum 3 years in Automotive industry
  • Minimum 1-2 years with ADAS experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • A desire to learn
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Experience with automotive OBD2 functions and tools: Vector, DET, CANanalyzer
  • Even better, you may have

  • M.S. In Electrical, Controls, Computer, Mechanical or Systems Engineering
  • Experience with advanced automotive OBD2 functions and tools: CANoe and CANanalyzer
  • Understanding of CAN networking
  • 1+ year experience in script writing using Phython, C, C++ or equivalent
